The world seems cut off, and so am I, in my room. I’m recalling something, now that I have all the time there’s to stroll down the memory lane. Recently, I’ve been listening to ‘Memories’ by Maroon 5, a recommendation by a friend; and some lines truly resonate with me. Now, ‘Human’ by Christina Perri plays in the background, stirring thoughts of all the times I’ve stumbled and bled, only to rise again. I fell once more recently—this time without realizing it—but, as always, I got back on my feet. And now, I find myself smiling, even laughing. The song is on repeat, and memories continue to flood my mind. I still carry the conversation I had with K. like an unspoken truth I can’t let go of. I should have said this before everything fell apart, but it’s never too late to write you a letter.
K., I hope you’ve found peace now. I hope life’s struggles no longer weigh you down, and that you can finally breathe freely.
Life can be harsh. People disappoint, making you question everything, including your own purpose. I imagine you’ve felt that too. I hope you now understand life’s highs and lows, that you approach people with more understanding rather than quick judgment. Change is real, though it seems hollow at times, but it slides on, still. I hope you have no regrets and that you never take anything for granted. Above all, I hope you embrace your humanity—before any title, expectation, or role; you are a person first. I hope you cherish every moment, but with thoughtfulness. It’s easy to get lost in the rush, to lose yourself in fleeting emotions and choices. But even when that happens, I hope you carry no regret. I hope you never jump to conclusion with just one side of the coin. Most of all, I hope you give life another chance. Things go wrong sometimes, but I hope that doesn’t take away the essence of who you are. I hope you’ve freed yourself from whatever held you back—that you’re ready to soar.
I hope you’re learning to love yourself first, because only then can others truly love you. I hope you’re not burdened by sadness or self-doubt. I hope you’re taking care of yourself. I hope the expectations of culture, religion, or society no longer chain your soul. Trust in God, keep praying, and keep working hard. You’re a human too, you bleed when you fall down. Don’t beat yourself up when things don’t fall in line. Especially, never take the guilt trip when you make a mistake, learn from it instead. “Shit happens” sometimes!
I hope you’re being authentic, that you no longer wear a mask to please others. I hope you’re becoming the person you always dreamed of being.
Despite everything from the past, I hope you still believe in love. Life has more to offer than you might think. I hope you find a love that heals you, one that will tape your broken pieces together again. A love that makes you feel whole, never makes you question your worth, and accepts you entirely. I hope you find love that will never peck on your freedom of leading a happy life. I hope you find a love that allows you to breathe, to be free, to create. A love that doesn’t confine you but rather empowers you. A love that lasts.
But just as I hope you find love, I also hope you become love. I hope you’re a source of support, care, and understanding in return. I hope this love isn’t just something you receive but something you give wholeheartedly. I hope it becomes the heart of your journey, something that truly heals you.
Hold on to your courage, your kindness, and your hunger for growth. Life is constantly changing—I hope you continue evolving alongside it. Keep that fire within you alive.
I know life has knocked you down, but you got back up. You made it through the darkest moments. Now, I hope you’re aiming higher, dreaming bigger. I hope you’re finally doing what you’ve always wanted to do, because nothing is holding you back anymore. I hope you’re truly living, not just existing. I hope you’re surrounded by people who believe in you, who uplift and inspire you. Most importantly, I hope you’re with people who love you—people who will always stand by your side.
And next time, take fewer reckless risks.
I hope you’ve found life again. I truly wish you well!!!
